Subj: That is a big can of worms there Missy

Wow Missy,

That's a can of worms right there! Dan Gunn was a great friend and his murder has been covered up for along time. You might check , but there was a reward of $40,000 that was put up for anyone coming forth with any evidence. Could be a good project for you. There has been some light that has been shed on it over the years by some that have taken the interest to try to find out for the benefit of finally revailing the truth of the matter. Mainly because Dan Gunn was such a good friend to many.
But, it is apparent that somehow evidence that is needed that the Houston County Sheriff's Dept supposedly has can not be found. It was believed at one time that his son Dan Jr. had done it. But, personal friends of Dan and Little Dan , think not...is possible but not likely. Little Dan was just a good scapegoat. There is certainly alot more to this mystery , which to someone is not a mystery at all. It was too organized from the very beginning. And quite possibly, local law enforcement and investgators know more than they can say and keep their jobs.
